Things started out snarky and quickly got stupid between Malcolm Jenkins and Eric Reid in Week 7 when the Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Carolina Panthers.
At one time, Jenkins and Reid were two guys fighting for the same causes and using their platform to advocate for criminal justice reform and to bring attention to social inequalities. But this offseason, the NFL and Players Coalition agreed to a new partnership — $90 million toward programs and other social efforts — and it drew ire from Reid and began a rift between the safeties.
