The quarterback the Eagles drafted this year is signing with the Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles waived 2019 fifth-round pick Clayton Thorson and opted not to keep him on their practice squad by signing former New York Giants quarterback Kyle Lauletta instead.

Now Thorson has a new home. The Northwestern alumnus is reportedly signing to the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad.

The Cowboys currently only have two quarterbacks on their 53-man roster: Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush. That makes Thorson the third quarterback in their building.

Between the Cowboys signing Thorson and Washington claiming Wendell Smallwood on waivers, the Eagles’ NFC East rivals aren’t shying away from trying to gather insider info on them.
