Chip Kelly says this isn't the groin injury that dogged Cody Parkey through training camp, but the bottom line is that the Eagles' kicker did something to his leg in Sunday's pregame warmup and will get an MRI Monday afternoon, a source told the Daily News.
The Eagles are trying out kickers, a move Kelly labeled "precautionary."
A couple of weeks ago, Parkey and he and Kelly insisted the groin injury had healed and was not the reason Parkey missed a 44-yard field goal attempt that could have given the Eagles a lead in the final two and a half minutes of their season-opening loss in Atlanta.
