After watching (one of) his former teams start off the season 2-0, former NFL receiver Terrell Owens is ready to get involved.
As if you need to be reminded, Owens played in the NFL from 1996 to 2010 for the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills, and Bengals, with a brief stint in 2012 as a member of the Seahawks' practice squad. It is not inaccurate to to suggest that his legacy was forged by more than mere football-playing.
Owens' Philadelphia career was highlighted by many a controversy, such as saying he regretted signing with the Eagles in the first place, getting into an altercation with Hugh Douglas, and insinuating that Donovan McNabb was not a "warrior," (though to be fair, if Philadelphia had its own currency, a diss of McNabb, the best QB in franchise history, would inexplicably be engraved on it).
