One of the more underrated needs for the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason is middle linebacker. The Eagles have an abundance of talent in their linebacker corps, but they lack a reliable MIKE linebacker that can lead the group moving forward.
As fate would have it, the Detroit Lions are in rebuild mode and have cut middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch to create cap flexibility. If the Eagles are looking to bolster the middle of their defense, Tulloch should be towards the top of their list of potential free agent pickups.
Tulloch was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2006 and was one of the team’s top performers on defense.
