For the second year in a row, the Philadelphia Eagles may want to consider shifting a young cornerback to safety. Walter Thurmond made the transition last summer and played very well in the new role, but the Eagles are unsure whether he will be back next season and it would be in their best interest to replace him with a younger guy like rookie cornerback Eric Rowe.
Rowe (also known as #DeathRowe) had a roller coaster of a rookie season, but, for the most part, turned out to be a solid player for the Eagles as a first-year defensive back, which is a difficult position to master at the professional level.
