Should the Eagles play their starters in the Ravens preseason game?

The Philadelphia Eagles plan to play their starters for at least one series in tonight’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to a report from the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane.

The starters could play longer depending on how the first series goes, McLane adds.

So, for example, maybe two series if the offense begins the game with a relatively uninspiring three-and-out sequence?

The Eagles playing their starters in the preseason at all is certainly a change from what we saw last year. Of course, Nick Sirianni talked about potentially needing to alter that approach following Philly’s too-close-for-comfort win over the New England Patriots in Week 1 last year.
