Several Eagles players start training camp on the sideline

As the Eagles took the field for their first training camp practice of 2024, several players were sidelined with injuries, both old and new.

The team placed OT Gottlieb Ayedze, WR Shaq Davis, and DB Cooper DeJean on the Non-Football Injury list — DeJean is expected to miss a few weeks, something head coach Nick Sirianni admitted was a setback, but the team has confidence the rookie will make use of mental reps in the meantime and be ready to go when he can. Safety Sydney Brown is also starting camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list as he continues to recover from last season’s torn ACL.
