Season-Altering Challenge For O Line

The news came down on Tuesday and, as anticipated, right tackle Lane Johnson has been suspended by the NFL for 10 games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. It's a punch in the gut for an offensive line that played so well for the first quarter of the season, and it's an enormous challenge for the next 10 weeks of a very difficult schedule.

Johnson probably played the best football of his career in the opening four games, using his athleticism and technique to man the right tackle spot so very well. The Eagles, of course, knew this was coming.
