Schwartz Talks About Tulloch

Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is not a member of the Eagles’ personnel department. But it’s pretty clear that executive vice-president of football operations Howie Roseman and his scouts respect Schwartz’s opinion of players.

The Eagles added three players in the offseason who previously played for Schwartz – linebacker Nigel Bradham and cornerbacks Leodis McKelvin and Ron Brooks – and could soon add a fourth if their contract negotiations with free agent linebacker Stephen Tulloch bear fruit.

Tulloch, 31, played six seasons for Schwartz in Tennessee (2006-08) and Detroit (2011-13). Schwartz was the defensive coordinator for the Titans and head coach for the Lions.
