SAM BRADFORD knew it all along, he said Thursday, or at least he thought he did.
Hoped he did.
The Eagles' $36 million quarterback said that two months ago, before leaving NovaCare for Oklahoma, he talked to Howie Roseman about his future with the Eagles.
"Right after the season, I had some conversations with (management)," said Bradford, who later clarified he was referencing de facto general manager Roseman, then freshly reempowered after the dismissal of Chip Kelly. "I was hoping that they were credible, and that they were honest in those conversations."
Based on those conversations, "I was confident I was going to be back here," Bradford said.
