EAGLES (-5) over Saints
Is Drew Brees with half a shoulder better than Sam Bradford with a good shoulder? Hmmmm . . . Good question. Everyone in the Superdome - and everyone on the Dallas defense - knew that Brees couldn't throw it farther than my 7-year-old granddaughter last Sunday. Yet he still was masterful, hitting on 33 of 41 passes for 359 yards. Bradford, with the good shoulder, was 15-for-28 and 270 yards. The edge goes to Brees, but Bradford didn't make any mistakes (three touchdowns, no interceptions), so there is some good news.
