Wide receiver Rueben Randle had gallbladder surgery and is missing from organized team activities this week, and running back Ryan Mathews was absent Tuesday because of an illness.
Linebacker Jordan Hicks returned to full-team work after missing Tuesday's session last week with tightness in his leg. Kicker Cody Parkey was attempting field goals while continuing to recover from a hamstring injury. Cornerbacks Nolan Carroll and JaCorey Shepherd remained out of team drills.
Mathews, the Eagles' top running back, was replaced on the first-team offense by Kenjon Barner. It was also an opportunity for more work for fifth-round pick Wendell Smallwood and undrafted rookie Cedric O'Neal.
