The Eagles signed rookie cornerback D.J. Killings to the practice squad.
Killings was signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent back in May. The 5-10, 187-pound native of Jacksonville, Florida attended Central Florida and started all 13 games as a senior hauling in three interceptions including a pick-six. In his 36 games as a Golden Knight, Killings made 99 tackles, eight for a loss, five interceptions, 22 passes defended, a sack, and one forced a fumble.
The football bloodline runs true for Killings. His father Fred Killings Sr. was a Hall of Fame running back at Howard University.
