Tyler Steen suffered “a mild ankle injury” during the Philadelphia Eagles’ Saturday training camp practice and “could miss the next few days,” according to a report from the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane.
The good news for Steen is that he avoided a more serious issue. With the Eagles practicing on Monday and Tuesday before holding a Wednesday walkthrough, perhaps he’ll be able to return in time for the team’s public practice on Thursday night. If not then, he could be back for the next practice on Sunday.
The bad news for Steen is that he’s hardly considered a lock to start at right guard.
