According to numerous reports, former Eagles RB Jay Ajayi is set to work out with the team whom he formerly won a Super Bowl with.
Ajayi hasn’t played since tearing his ACL in week 5 of the 2018 season, but averaged a staggering 5.8 yards per carry during his Super Bowl-winning season in 2017, racking up 408 yards on 70 carries.
This is significant. Jordan Howard has been a new name listed on the Eagles injury report and Darren Sproles joined him on Thursday’s release. Howard has been the team’s bell-cow back this season and has performed exceptionally well, currently averaging a new career-high in yards per carry, and already racking up 525 yards on the season to go with 6 rushing touchdowns.
