Report: Landon Dickerson will miss at least one game due to thumb surgery

The Philadelphia Eagles will be without starting left guard Landon Dickerson against the New York Giants in Week 16.

Dickerson is having thumb surgery and will miss at least one game, according to a report from Tim McManus. Dickerson will not be placed on injured reserve, which would require him to miss at least four games.

As 11.5-point home favorites, the Eagles should be able to beat the Giants without Dickerson. But it’s never ideal to be missing a starter on the offensive line.

And it’s possible the Eagles will be missing both of their starting guards on Christmas Day.
