Report: Former Eagles WR Josh Huff agrees to plea deal in gun case

Former Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff has agreed to a plea deal that will get him six months of probation instead of jail time for unlawful possession of a handgun, according to TMZ.

If Huff stays out of trouble, the gun charge will be taken off the books. Had he not struck the plea deal, he could have faced 10 years in jail if convicted of the charges.

Huff was charged with the offense after being pulled over on the New Jersey side of the Walt Whitman Bridge on Nov. 1. He was also charged with DUI, speeding, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of illegal hollow-point bullets, and was also cited for having tinted windows on his vehicle.
