Report: Eagles to pursue QB Jacoby Brissett when free agency opens

According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan, the Philadelphia Eagles have significant interest in pending free agent QB Jacoby Brissett. Caplan stated this during the most recent episode of his ‘Inside The Birds’ podcast that the team will be ‘in on him’ when free agency opens

This really shouldn’t come as a surprise. The Eagles need a backup for Jalen Hurts but reportedly want to keep competition to a minimum. Brissett has served in a QB2 role throughout his career while showing enough in starting situations to warrant a ‘fringe’ label. More importantly, he has plenty of ties to the Eagles.
