According to Geoff Mosher, the Philadelphia Eagles are planning to let the contract of Rich Scangarello expire this offseason.
Scangarello was onboarded as a ‘senior offensive assistant’ in what quickly became a committee effort to replace Offensive Coordinator Mike Groh. That was a decision that ultimately haunted the Eagles offense, with many perceiving there to be ‘too many chefs in the Kitchen’.
He spent 2019 as the Broncos’ offensive coordinator but it was very much a tale of two halves. The first was an offense filled with pre-snap motion and using a lot of deception to open up the playbook.
