The New York Jets are interviewing Eagles vice president of player personnel Joe Douglas for their general manager vacancy this weekend, according to a report from Yahoo’s Charles Robinson.
This news follows last week’s development that the Jets officially put in a request to interview Douglas. It’s now clear that the Eagles either 1) couldn’t deny this interview because the Jets are offering Douglas final say on personnel moves or 2) the Eagles are granting Douglas permission to interview with the Jets.
It sounds like it may be a case of the former.
