Reasons to cheer Phillies' Nola, Eagles' Bradford and their fans

THIS PAST TUESDAY, my son Jesse and I went to see the Phillies play the Tampa Bay Rays. Like many fans, we went to see the Phils' best pitching prospect, Aaron Nola, make his major league debut. I was lucky enough to have great seats about 12 rows behind home plate, which provided a great vantage point to gauge Nola's command and his "stuff."

Nola was extremely impressive in the six innings he pitched, holding the Rays to only one run and five hits, while striking out six and walking only one. To Phillies fans who have been starved for anything to get excited about, this confirmed that Nola was the next Cy Young, Robin Roberts or, at least, Doc Halladay.
