Season 3 is here and Bill Davis has more pieces in place for his Eagles defense. He has seen the ebbs and flows of building a quality defense, and now comes the critical year: Can the back end match what the defense does up front?
As the team continues its Organized Team Activities -- the Eagles have 10 training sessions and a mandatory minicamp scheduled in the course of the next month -- building chemistry and identifying the best positions for personnel are among the to-do items on the defensive side of the ball.
There have been some radical changes on defense for the Eagles since Davis joined Chip Kelly's staff in 2013.
