It comes down to whom you trust more - Michael Wilbon or Ray Didinger.
After the Eagles dropped their second straight game last weekend against Washington, the Pardon the Interruption host blasted football analysts who he said were too quick to praise rookie quarterback Carson Wentz.
“I didn’t. Every other dope in the world did because they have to declare stuff now,” Wilbon said on Tuesday’s show. “People are so stupid, and fueled with these numbers drunkenly, they have to go out and tell you how great everybody is after two games."
Wilbon is entitled to his opinion, but most analysts in and out of Philadelphia agree that it was the Eagles' suspect defensive play, and not their rookie quarterback, that was the main culprit in their two losses.
