Quotes: Offensive Coordinator Pat Shurmur

Q. QB Sam Bradford talked the other day about having to do something -- in the wake of the league’s explanation on the hit from Ravens LB Terrell Suggs -- to make it clear that he doesn't have the ball on every handoff, so that every handoff doesn’t lead to a defender diving at a quarterback’s knees. Have you discussed that at all and what you might need to do?

PAT SHURMUR: I think it's important. Everybody's getting hit; it is sort of an occupational hazard of playing football, and we've just got to do a good job of making sure we protect ourselves.
