Fast forward to the 11:45 mark of this on the Eagle Eye in the Sky podcast. The topic of the conversation is the Eagles' run game and Brown, who has studied Chip Kelly since his time at Oregon, was surprised that the Eagles have gotten "very little mileage out of the outside zone" run plays.
That may change in 2015. Running back DeMarco Murray thrived on the outside zone runs last year with Dallas as part of his franchise-record and league-leading 1,845 yards rushing. The Eagles worked on this throughout Sunday's training session and it will be interesting to see if this is a prevalent trend during the season with Murray and Ryan Mathews as downhill rushers.
