Police on horseback make tailgating arrest at Lincoln Financial Field

At least one arrest has been made amid the tailgating around Lincoln Financial Field, police said.

The arrest took place around 3 p.m. Sunday, more than three hours before the Eagles-Vikings NFC Championship game’s scheduled 6:40 p.m. kickoff. Officers were called to the lot due to reports of a disturbance, a police spokesman said.

Police did not provide the name of the man taken into custody. Pictures on Twitter show officers on horseback apprehending him. He is shirtless with a bloodied face.
