When it was all said and done, DeSean Jackson wasn’t quite the lock for Week 11 that Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson described him as being. Things often don’t work out as we would have hoped. The thought of ’10’ rejoining the Eagles and giving Carson Wentz a deep threat with a skill set like Jackson’s was a welcome idea for ‘Birds’ fans.
Then, when he wasn’t able to go in Week 2 versus the Atlanta Falcons, that idea was placed on hold. Weeks passed, seven of them actually, and Jackson’s return in Week 9 lasted all of one series.
