Here’s an interesting story if you missed it. We all knew Josh McCown had a sweet deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. Josh McCown knows that too. That’s exactly what got him off of the couch to sign a deal with what will be the 11th team he’s played for in the first place, and that’s actually 12 professional franchises that he’s played for if you count a stint he had in the UFL with something called the Hartford Cardinals.
McCown’s decision to unretire will earn him $2 million in 2019 and a possible Super Bowl ring that’s managed to elude him despite playing pro football for 11 teams during the course of a 16-year NFL career.
