Philadelphia Eagles: Who will play slot cornerback in 2015?

Philadelphia Eagles rookie cornerback JaCorey Shepherd has torn his ACL and will be out for the season after an exceptional performance at training camp. This news comes shortly after the Eagles traded away cornerback Brandon Boykin because of their confidence in Shepherd.

With both Boykin and Shepherd gone the Eagles are looking sparse at the cornerback position. As far as the starting outside cornerbacks go the Eagles have newly signed Byron Maxwell holding down the top corner spot and rookie Eric Rowe competing with cornerback Nolan Carroll for the number two spot.
