Unfortunately, here we go again. The Philadelphia Eagles officially notch their fourth loss, exceeding last year’s loss total. And the worst part about it? We’re not even halfway through the season. Just as we thought the Super Bowl Birds were back, they rip our hearts out and stomp on them as they let the Carolina Panthers climb back from a 17-point deficit at the Linc.
The Eagles played flawlessly in the first half. Carson Wentz had already exceeded 200 yards in the passing game, and the Eagles had a comfortable lead. On the other hand, Cam Newton looked lost with under 30 yards passing, and the Panthers defense couldn’t stop the dangerous trio that was Wentz, Zach Ertz, and Alshon Jeffery.
