It’s finally happened. The Philadelphia Eagles have been rumored to be shopping cornerback Brandon Boykin for months and today, the Eagles officially traded the talented corner to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a fifth-round pick. Boykin will now be on the other end of the Keystone State rivalry.
Frankly, the Eagles just got robbed. Not only was Boykin arguably the best overall cornerback on the Eagles, but he was easily one of the best slot corners in the entire NFL. Before the trade, Boykin was in the running for the starting cornerback job opposite Byron Maxwell, which would’ve been a crime for him not to receive.
