As the 2017 League Year quickly approaches, the Philadelphia Eagles are readying to stockpile on talent at the wide receiver position. The Eagles suffered through 2016 with Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor and Dorial Green-Beckham being the team’s top receiving threats. Needless to say, that didn’t work out too well.
However, help could (kind of?) be on the way.
According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if the Eagles traded for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Torrey Smith. While listing the top priorities for each team going into the offseason, La Canfora unsurprisingly claimed the Eagles’ focus should be directed mainly towards the wide receiver position.
