Philadelphia Eagles: The jury is still out on Maxwell

When Nnamdi Asomugha signed his five year 60 Million dollar deal with the Philadelphia Eagles after eight seasons with the Oakland Raiders in 2011, back up quarterback and former rookie of the year Vince Young declared the Eagles a “Dream” Team. Asomugha never lived up to the hype as an Eagles “lockdown” corner, instead he looked rather pedestrian during his his two year stint in Philadelphia. Four years later, Deja Vu is in the air as the Eagles sign cornerback Byron Maxwell to a six year 63 million dollar deal after four years with the Seattle Seahawks and the storied “Legion of Boom” secondary.
