It hasn’t been the easiest last couple of week’s for Philadelphia Eagles tight end, Zach Ertz. The veteran tight end is now waiting patiently to be cleared by the NFL’s concussion protocol. He left late in Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with an apparent head injury that kept him out for the remainder of the game.
The concussion for Ertz was unexpected. It wasn’t clear that he took a shot to the head when he got hit on the play. He suffered the injury on a very crucial third down play where he was targeted by Carson Wentz but could not hold on to the ball to secure the catch.
