Say what you will about the ‘Michael Vick Experience’ with the Philadelphia Eagles. It did lead to some pretty big moments. What was supposed to be the beginning of the Kevin Kolb era in Philly took a hit when Philly’s heir apparent went down in game number one with a concussion versus the Green Bay Packers.
Vick took over, and he’d remain the Eagles starter until an injury of his own led to the beginning of the first Nick Foles stint in Philadelphia.
Andy Reid‘s replacement, Chip Kelly, would return Vick to the starting role after winning the job over Foles and newly-drafted Matt Barkley, but Vick would get hurt again, ultimately ending his era in Philadelphia.
