The Philadelphia Eagles signed six players to contracts, according to an official announcement from the team.
Note that these are actually NOT futures contracts. Futures contracts are only signed between the end of the regular season and before the Super Bowl ends.
The six players are: wide receiver Rashard Davis, offensive guard Darrell Greene, cornerback D.J. Killings, safety Tre Sullivan, wide receiver Bryce Treggs, and wide receiver Greg Ward.
All six of these players finished the 2017 season on the Eagles’ practice squad. It’s pretty standard practice for NFL teams to sign their practice squad players to deals in order to help fill out the 90-man offseason roster.
