The 2019 NFL Draft is approaching, and one of the things we learned from the 2018 regular season and playoffs was the fact that you can never have too many capable running backs at your disposal. The Philadelphia Eagles were supposed to be set with a ‘committee’ system that included Darren Sproles, Jay Ajayi, and Corey Clement.
That made collective mouths water. Then, they all got hurt. As a matter of fact, none of them finished the season. Thank goodness they found the undrafted Josh Adams. Still, after seeing that, everyone was reminded about the need for a good insurance policy.
