The Philadelphia Eagles‘ cornerback situation is in flux at the moment. After being robbed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in a trade for Brandon Boykin, the man who was supposed to fill Boykin’s shoes, JaCorey Shepherd, went down with an ACL tear on Monday, leaving the Eagles desperate for secondary depth.
Since Shepherd’s season-ending injury, second-year player Jaylen Watkins and newly acquired E.J. Biggers have been seen working in the slot. More recently however, Eagles’ rookie Eric Rowe has been getting first team reps in the slot as well as battling for a starting spot on the outside with Nolan Carroll.
