In a very unsurprising move, the Philadelphia Eagles have cut disappointing wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.
The Eagles acquired DGB from the Tennessee Titans via trade last summer in return for offensive tackle Dennis Kelly. It was a low-risk trade that unfortunately failed miserably for the Eagles. DGB, despite having the tools to be a useful receiver, failed horrendously with the Eagles, managing just 36 receptions for 392 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Perhaps the most frustrating thing about DGB’s one season in Philadelphia was his failure to make even an inkling of an impact in the red zone.
