The compensatory pick game was expected to be mighty generous to the Philadelphia Eagles this season. It was initially believed that the team would receive three picks throughout the offseason, according to PhillyVoice’s Jimmy Kempski – but as it turns out, the Eagles have only been issued two compensatory picks for the 2019 NFL Draft.
Now, the Eagles will roll with eight total picks this year so far. And I say so far because we’re not entirely sure how this draft is going to play out. Considering that Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been quite involved with tons of trading throughout the last two years, the Eagles could end up with more, or less picks before the draft even begins.
