This move isn’t going to make a lot of headlines, but the Philadelphia Eagles signed linebacker Najee Goode for another year, the team officially announced late Wednesday morning.
You won’t see too many Eagles fans walking around the streets of Philadelphia wearing a Najee Goode jersey, but Goode is a solid depth linebacker and has become an ace on the Eagles’ special teams unit. The decision to keep him within the organization is certainly a “Goode” one.
The biggest play of Goode’s career came in Week 13 against the New England Patriots where he recovered a blocked punt caused by Chris Maragos and took it to the house for a touchdown.
