‘The Philly Special’ was just that, special. Still, as great as it was the Philadelphia Eagles‘ gallant attempt on fourth down to close the first half of Super Bowl LII was, it wouldn’t have happened if their undrafted rookie running back, Corey Clement, hadn’t taken a pass from Nick Foles and turned upfield, chewing up half the football field and setting up the Eagles with a first-and-goal.
He also took the handoff on the Philly special and tossed it to third-string tight end Trey Burton, who threw the touchdown pass to Foles.
