Last year in the springtime, the Philadelphia Eagles were looking for veteran linebackers to bring on board. That’s when they made a veteran linebacker’s dream come true. Delaware native Paul Worrilow might’ve spent a good chunk of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, but playing for the Eagles was something he wanted to do since he was young.
By no means was Worrilow expected to take over with a starting spot on the defense, but some rotational snaps along with a role on special teams surely weren’t out of the question. Worrilow could’ve offered some nice depth last season, but he would never get to debut for the Eagles in the preseason or the regular season.
