The Philadelphia Eagles‘ secondary was already thin going into Sunday’s 21-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Now it’s even thinner.
Cornerback Ron Brooks was carted off the field in the first quarter of Sunday’s game with a ruptured quadriceps tendon and was seen walking on crutches in the locker room. Brooks will reportedly require surgery for the injury, which would ultimately end his first season with the Eagles a little earlier than expected.
The Eagles signed Brooks to a three-year deal during free agency, reuniting the fifth-year pro with Jim Schwartz, his former defensive coordinator with the Buffalo Bills.
