When Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly gained full control of all personnel decisions, the first big move he made was a controversial one. He traded the team’s star player, running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso. At the time of the trade and even today, people are more focused on the loss of McCoy instead of the addition of Alonso. Sure, he suffered a major injury in the offseason and missed the entire 2014 season but Alonso is being severely overlooked. He’s not just another former Oregon Duck, he’s a damn good football player.
