Just when it seemed like the injury bug couldn’t catch up with the Philadelphia Eagles even more since there season is already over, it appears Josh McCown added a new twist to the situation.
After Carson Wentz was forced to leave Sunday’s playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks with a head injury, McCown stepped up for the Eagles on offense, which was actually pretty cool in a way since it was the veteran’s first career playoff action since joining the NFL in 2002.
All things considered, McCown completing 18 of 24 passes for 174 yards with a banged-up offense wasn’t all that bad for the veteran quarterback.
