The NFL trade market has been what you would call rich this season. For the first time in a long time, there were multiple ‘blue-chip’ prospects available for the correct price. Throughout the summer, the biggest name being discussed was defensive end, Jadeveon Clowney.
Being that the Philadelphia Eagles love to load up on defensive line depth, they were surely in the mix for Clowney. However, since Clowney’s situation required a team not to be able to change his contract situation until the offseason, it made his trade desire drop for many teams — the Eagles included.
