Philadelphia Eagles in heavy negotiations with Stephen Tulloch

Last month, linebacker Stephen Tulloch was cut from the Detroit Lions after spending five years in the Motor City. We believed he would be a good fit with the Philadelphia Eagles and, as it turns out, Tulloch joining the Eagles may actually end up happening.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tulloch and the Eagles are in “heavy negotiations” and a possible deal could be imminent.

Signing Tulloch would be a very sensible move for the Eagles. Tulloch played under Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz for three years with the Tennessee Titans prior to Schwartz becoming the head coach of the Lions in 2009.
