PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Apple Watch is expected to begin landing on wrists this Friday, when the estimated two million pre-orders begin arriving at customers.
And Eagles fans will have one of the first apps designed for the brand-new device.
Touch the Eagles logo on your Apple Watch, says the team’s marketing boss, Anne Gordon, “and it’ll immediately pull up a screen that says ‘Players, Bios, Drafts.’ ”
Gordon says the app’s first big game is next week’s NFL Draft.
“(When) we pick a player, that’s going to pop up on their watch or on their iPhone, and they’ll get player profiles and instant analysis as soon as it happens,” she explains.
